You record the findings and choose the owner and date. The tool applies the scoring rules; it does not inspect or independently verify your documents. A separate critical safeguard can still require immediate action.
How it works
Allow roughly half a day once your records are ready, plus up to a working day to gather and check them. You can split the work across several sessions. The aim is to get a useful picture of your arrangements, not to chase a high score.

You may have enough information to make improvements with your own team. If you need someone outside the organisation to examine the evidence, the Standard Governance Review is £4,750 + VAT. It is a separate, optional service; there is no obligation to book it.
The Health Check is a self-assessment, not independent assurance, accreditation, certification, legal or procurement advice, or confirmation of compliance. It produces no badge or public rating.
Your licence covers one purchasing organisation and one named panel arrangement. You can share it in a controlled way with your external panel provider and professional advisers to help assess or improve that arrangement.
